The Kasbah was the local establishment, where the local governors, who are at the same times the leaders of their tribes during the history the country.

The Kansas was also a local palace where all the affairs of the tribe used to be managed through different departments as; military, taxes, caravans services.
That will be very informative to organize a day trip to the valley of Ait Ben Haddou, where is the most important Kadabahs of the Pasha Glaoui, who became the strong governor of Marrakesh by the end of 19th century and beginning of the 20th century.
The trip will be on car and take all day traveling from Marrakech. Start at 8:30 am with driver then travel to towards the east of Marrakech through Ait Ourir valley and the pass of Tizi N’tichka, witch is the famous pass through mountains to catch the Moroccan desert. After the pass we turn left to drive a long side of Talwate valley where the kasbahs are located near the river and in the heart of the Atlas. We will visit the Kasbahs first then stop for a break lunch before we drive to Ouarzazate, the door of the desert as they describe it. The town contain one of the biggest filming studios in North Africa and Middle East. It contain also the biggest Kasbah for checking out the caravans that use to go to the desert until Timbuktu.
After the visit we start to travel back towards Marrakech by different road for 4 hours driving to get there around 19:00 pm.
