Trekking Imlil Village : Pick up from Marrakech then drive towards the South through the Hawz plain, open fields of olive trees and barley. We get to Tahanaout village after 30 minutes, here is the main village” district” of western high Atlas.

The meaning of Tahanaout in Berber language is coming from “Hene” the plant that women use to adorn on weddings. The plant used to be grown in this village fields, beside the road a big channel of irrigation system led water from the peaks of the Atlas to all plain of Hawz around Marrakech. At the same time the channel cross a small water mills used for grinding the Hene and barley.
By the end of the village a feminist cooperative of Argan oil and cosmetic naturally product used for the body traitement.
Cross the Ghighaya river and catch the Atlas, beside the river small camps for mint tea and camels for riding through the driver. After a short stop, heading to the village of Asni, the small local market organized every Saturday for trading between the locals.from here we turn left towards Imlil,the starting point for climbing the mount of Toubkal 4167 m. We go for a gentle walk to explore this beautiful village for 2 to 3 hours through its gardens of walnuts and cheers. Get back to the village for a break lunch near the river before we start heading back to the city.
